Kusadasi will be not boring site in 2 days for you because there is a lot to do.
There are lovely five, four star hotels or holiday villages in Kusadasi for comfortable accommodation. For staying in Kusadasi in high season ( june-july-august) book your hotel early.
Two days is plenty enough to learn something about Greek and Roman history with visiting couple of ancient historical sites around Kusadasi. Ephesus is the best one but also you can go and visit Priene, Miletus, Didyma, Aphrodisias, Pergamum, Pamukkale. If you are interested in Christianity, in two days you can visit couple of seven churches, The House of Virgin Mary, The church of St John etc.
Two days holiday in Kusadasi gives you a change to enjoy history and nature together. You can spend your first day with visiting historical sites and other day you can relax and enjoy nature. National Park will be great choice for relaxing in clean deep blue water and with fresh air in forest or you can join a boat trip and have sun tan during all day. For adventure lovers there are many choices full with adrenaline such as horse safari and swimming with horse, rafting or swimming with dolphins in aqua park, jeep or quad safari for dirty day out, diving to discover underwater world etc.
In two days you will have plenty time for shopping because all shops are open from morning till midnight. There is Grand Bazaar, Kusadasi Bazaar and Orient Bazaar with hundreds of shops and all these are in Kusadasi centre. For textile outlets you need one full day and you can go to Soke outlets by car. Town of Soke is 30min driving from Kusadasi. In the Town of Selcuk there are outlets and factories for leather, jewellery, ceramics and carpet. The town of Selcuk is 15min driving from Kusadasi.
In 2 days holiday you can also enjoy night life. There is Caravanserai in centre and 2 nights in a week Turkish night is arranged there. You can have dinner and enjoy belly dance show, folk dances of Turkey. There are also numerous night clubs, pubs, discos, bars etc in downtown.
Don’t forget to taste sea foods and kebabs when you are in Kusadasi. There are many nice restaurants beside water and all they are reasonable. |
