Bafa Lake |
Located 50 km (30 miles) south east of Kusadasi,
Lake Bafa, was once a bay on the Aegean cost of
Anatolia. This bay was seperated from the sea by
the alluvium which was bought by the river over
thousands of years. Latmos, a seport of
Antiquity, is located on the north shore of the
lake. The only way to reach this spot is via
boat since there is no road on the north shore
of the lake. The lake is famous with the
enchanting moon reflection on it.
There
are small fish restaurants by the south shore
where the Kusadasi - Bodrum road passes. |
