Cotton Castle in Turkish) is definetly a must
for sight seeing. Daily tours from Kusadasi is
the easiest and most economical way to see
Pamukkale.
Ephesus
The ancient city of
Ephesus is the top sights seeing spot in the
area. This magnificient city can be visited by
getting a daily tour from Kusadasi or on your
own by taking a Dolmus (minibus). You should be
ready to spend at least 1 and a half hours to
walk Ephesus.
House of
Virgin Mary
House of Virgin
Mary, one of the most sacred places for
Christianity, is located near Ephesus. This spot
can be visited by daily tours from Kusadasi or
on your own by taking a Minibus (dolmus) from
Kusadasi to Selcuk and then taking another one
from Selcuk to Virgin Mary.
Sirince
Village
This old Greeek
village in the mountains of Selcuk is typical
example of old villages in Anatolia. Old houses
and churchs are well kept and the authenticity
still remains.
Bafa
Lake
Located 50 km (30
miles) south east of Kusadasi. The lake is
famous with the enchanting moon reflection on
it. There are small fish restaurants by the
south shore where the Kusadasi - Bodrum road
passes.
