Kusadasi Becomes the Favorite of Tourists in 2022

Cruise tourism has revived in Kuşadası, where tourism first started in Turkey. Leaving the bad days of the pandemic period behind, the capital of the cruise ship has been hosting 4-5 cruise ships a day since May. Foreign tourists coming by cruise ships to the city, which has blue flag beaches and unique nature, are greeted with folk dance performances at the port entrance

Some passengers who buy tours visit the Ephesus Ancient City, the House of the Virgin Mary, St. John Basilica and then Sirince Village. Those with don't go on the tour have the opportunity to buy many kinds of products, from souvenirs to textiles, from gold and diamonds to leather products, in the touristic bazaars of the city. In addition, shopping tourists can go to restaurants in different parts of the city town the rest of the day and taste delicious Turkish dishes.

It is expected that 900 thousand of passengers and crew will visit Kusadasi by the end of 2022 with approximately 498 cruise ships.
